Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic - and Ilkay Silk, a gifted actor, writer, director and producer. Anna Silk was the child of both a British father as well as an Turkish-born mother from England. In her early years, Anna appeared in several commercials. Anna moved to Toronto in Ontario in order to pursue acting. In the decade which followed, she moved into Los Angeles. Anna met Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an acting training held in Los Angeles, and they became engaged in 2009. Anna, who had converted to Judaism at the time, and Seth Cooperman were married in December of 2010 in Fredericton. The couple got married in April 2011, they renew their vows in an Jewish ceremony.
