Fawn Mckay

Fawn McCay Brodie was was born in Ogden Utah September 15, 1915. Fawn McKay, raised in the Mormon Church's First Family, used her literary talent and expertise in research to write the intriguing biographical psycho-historical study of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945 under the title"No Man knows My History, she used both. This title was inspired by an 1844 funeral sermon preached by the Church of Latter-Day Saints' founder. No one knows about my past. I cannot tell it. Fawn was a 29-year-old Fawn. Since that moment the three authors have risen to the challenge. A lot of them have denigrated him and some have deified him; a few have attempted to make a diagnostics. It's not the fact that these documents lack information, however they're wildly contradictory. It's a daunting task to put together these documents and separate first-hand stories from copies that are third-hand and integrating Mormon narratives with non-Mormon ones to form a cohesive collection. It is both interesting as well as fascinating. FawnBrodie was able to take on this expert task with enthusiasm and energy. The results of her study as well as her writing earned her worldwide fame. Thaddeus Stevens. The Devil drives (1959). Thomas Jefferson. A personal history of Richard Nixon (1974) as well as posthumously Richard Nixon.
